Bad routing

The routing was crazy. Package started in the US and was destined for India. From the US it went to Dubai. But then, instead of going to India (which is closeby), it overshot to China! Sat there for 2 days, before shipping backwards to India. Believe this zig-zag routing and additional handling, caused the 2 day delay in the ETD.
However, UPS did call the receiving party to let them know of the delay. That was appreciated.
