Very dissatisfied with this service.
I booked a shipment to send a small box to my family in Italy. I selected UPS, downloaded the label, and dropped the box off at a UPS location. I paid $82 and trusted that UPS would handle the shipment, just like last year.Instead, the next day my sister received an email from DHL, asking her to declare the contents and value — information I had already provided. Then she received another email saying she had to pay 48 euro in customs charges. At no point was I told that my package would be shipped by DHL instead of UPS. The label didn’t even show my family’s address, only a New York address, which was very confusing.In the end, I paid almost $140 to ship a small box, and my sister had to deal with extra paperwork and unexpected fees.I will never use this carrier again. Completely unacceptable and misleading.

I have used Meest in the past, for both air and surface intl. deliveries. The shipments always arrived in excellent condition and in less than the promised time. Their rates are very competitive, and the shipping process is easy, with drop off at a local UPS store. I will use them again, and highly recommend this carrier.

Cheap but unreliable

The few times I have used Meest, I have had problems. Once the shipment got delayed for weeks because additional ID was needed, and I had great difficulty in communicating with the Meest representative. In the other example, I sent two boxes to Australia and only one of them arrived. I have not been able to get a status from Meest on the whereabouts of the missing package yet.
